Childhood Developmental Disabilities TV Programme – Parenting

To raise public awareness and increase their understanding of childhood developmental disabilities, Department of Health, Education Bureau, together with Radio Television Hong Kong have jointly produced a series of 10 episodes of the programme "Parenting" to tell the real-life experiences of parents of students with special education needs (SEN) . The programme shares how parents take care of their children with developmental disabilities and weather difficulties in a positive manner to help their children develop their potential and enjoy learning through home-school collaboration . It is hoped that the real-life cases in “Parenting” can arouse the empathy of the public, enable them to have a better understanding of children with special education needs; understand, accept and respect them, achieving a harmonious community.

"Parenting" had been broadcasted on ATV home channel at 2009.  Each Child Assessment Centre also had the DVD version for parents to borrow.
