Health Advocacy The scope of Health Promotion service of Child Assessment Service (CAS) covers: Organizing public educational events aimed at enhancing understanding and correcting myths and misunderstandings related to developmental conditions of children. Engaging parental involvement through self-help groups, facilitating experience sharing of frustrations and difficulties faced by families with children having developmental conditions. Interfacing research and clinical care by systematic update of clinical practice using best scientific evidence based approach Coordinating governmental and non-governmental organizations participants in program-integrations, maximizing cost-effectiveness. Advocating for children with special developmental needs through personal example and collaboration with the multiple sectors serving them. With its clinical expertise and multidisciplinary team specialized in paediatric rehabilitation, CAS is committed to helping children overcome developmental challenges, and to protecting and promoting the quality of life and well-being of children with special needs. With holistic and timely support, children with special needs can live a barrier free life across the developmental spectrum, living up to their full potential.
